On the series of reviewing A'Bloom's new products, we have come to the third product, which is makeup sponge!
Read on to find out more about these adorable meringue makeup sponges! :)
Currently, they have 2 sizes of Meringue Puffs: Giant and Baby.
Giant Meringue Puff comes in one per packaging. It has a rather large base surface, which is handy in applying makeup quickly and effortlessly.
Baby Meringue Puff comes in three (3) pieces per packaging. With its size advantage and pointed tip, the Baby Meringue Puff is meant for detailed makeup application, especially the hard-to-reach nooks and crannies.
Before soaked in water, the makeup sponge is hard and stiff (as below).
Soak the Meringue Puff with water and then squeeze out excess water in it.
Then find the puff is much softer and bouncer (as below). This way would allow makeup to be applied more smoothly on the skin.
The choice is really up to you. ;)
On the side note, never have I encountered such a giant size makeup sponge before. Probably not too far fetch, its large base really makes base application easier and faster! I am so happy with the result! :D
The only downside is that it cannot reach the nooks around nose area. But I don't mind actually.
As for the Baby Meringue Puff, its pointy tip did help with detailed makeup application, but somehow I felt it's a bit lacking compared to the earlier.
I know it doesn't make sense because they are using the same material in the making. Well, favouritism does exist. :')

Product description
The design of Meringue Puff was inspired by baked meringue cookies. (yum!)Currently, they have 2 sizes of Meringue Puffs: Giant and Baby.

Material
The Meringue Puffs are made out of non-latex sponge with hydrophilic properties, which they will grow 1.5 times bigger than the original size when soaked in water.Before soaked in water, the makeup sponge is hard and stiff (as below).
Soak the Meringue Puff with water and then squeeze out excess water in it.
Then find the puff is much softer and bouncer (as below). This way would allow makeup to be applied more smoothly on the skin.
Colour and Texture
It's the ultimate pink-princess dream. Particularly, the Baby Meringue Puffs comes in three (3) different shades of pastel pink. How lovely!Usage
You may achieve two-types of makeup finish by using this makeup sponge.- Dewy-look, when the puff is soaked with water; OR
- Matte-look, when the puff is not soaked with water.
The choice is really up to you. ;)
Personal Experience
