Hello everyone! :)
Starting from today, I will be doing a series of product reviews on newly launched products from A'Bloom.
A quick headstart - what is A'Bloom?
Perhaps you noticed the alphabet "A" is styled exactly like Althea's logo. Yes, you guessed it correctly, these two brands are related.
Before any confusion arises, let's make it clear. A'bloom is its own brand by itself under Althea Exclusives, meaning to say, it is completely separate than all the other Althea products (Althea Collection).
On April 23rd, A'Bloom have launched three (3) products - a blackhead remover stick, fruits mask pack of 4 variants and makeup sponge in 2 sizes.
Today, I will be reviewing the BHA Blackhead Blaster. I never tried any blackhead remover stick before, so I'm looking forward to see how it goes. :)

What is this product?
A’bloom's BHA Blackhead Blaster is a quick and easy treatment for blackheads, whiteheads and dead skin for daily care.
It contains natural ingredients that help gently deep cleanse the pores, removing dead skin cells and brighten up the complexion.
What are the key ingredients and their functions?
- Natural BHA ingredient helps to deep pore cleanse by exfoliating the dead skin cells.
- Apricot seed powder helps to remove excessive sebum.
- Charcoal will absorb the dirt in the pores.
- Tea tree leaf oil helps to soothe as well as prevent any redness and irritations on the skin
Packaging
The concept colors are dark grey and mint blue - which is surprisingly a perfect match!
The product packaging itself is sleek, about the size of a lipstick.
Once remove the outer cap, you will find another safety cap (transparent) attached (as above).
Twist to find the blackhead stick slowly emerged from the case.
Above picture is when I twist the blackhead stick to the maximum. You can see the total amount of product as above. I think it can last for a good 3 months.
Texture and Scent
Its texture is very much like melting balm.
There is a prominent scent of tea tree oil. It is not far-fetch since tea tree oil is one of the main ingredients.
Application
Dampened the skin for preparation. Recommended to use right after bath.
Apply the stick directly on targeted areas and massage in circular motions for 30 seconds.
After that, rinse off with water. That's it! Very easy.
Personal Experience
I have been tackling with never-ending blackheads and whiteheads, especially around my nose area. This has been a constant headache for me since high school. :/What I do usually do is to squeeze the blackheads and whiteheads using an acne tool (also known as a blackhead or comedone extractor). The process is painful at first, but my pain tolerance raised gradually. Also, this process would cause redness and marks on the skin.
So there is a way to remove blackheads without ouch, I would be head-over-toe. You can tell how desperate I am.. :')
**WARNING: The following post contains images that may be disturbing.**
First thing first, to be honest with you, I was held back when I saw nothing much happen to the big ones (also the stubborn ones). Because those are the most prominent blackheads that showing off themselves. :/
Nevertheless, I do notice that generally the pores are less visible and the skin looks smoother than earlier.
Still worth the try. I will incorporate this product into my daily cleansing routine and see how it goes in a long run.
Where to purchase?
