[Review] Althea - Watercolor Cream Tint + Swatches

Yes, you may already knew by now, Althea Korea has launched their makeup line earlier this January. Lippie-craze as I am, I was over-the-moon when received these Watercolor Cream Tint by Althea! 😁

There are some other makeup products included in the Althea Ambassador's Kit, but today I just wish to draw your attention to these lip tints. How's the application? Formula? Pigmentation? ... I'm not going to drag you into a long-winded essay. Let's dive into these luscious lippies right away! 😜

Althea's Watercolor Cream Tint | 4.5 ml / 0.15 fl. oz.

See-through sturdy transparent plastic tube with black twist-cap, I thought the packaging is really chic and classic. Having said of it petite packaging, you can always carry it in your bag. It doesn't eat up space - so convenient! 👍🏻

Meanwhile, they are using the slightly-slanted application tip, pointy in the front, which is very handy on application. Also it is quite common among lip tints.

There are four (4) shades available:
#01 Plum Cream 플럼 크림
#02 Strawberry Cream 스트로베리 크림
#03 Peach Cream 피치 크림
#04 Marron Cream 마룬 크림

Above are the results from one application. You can tell how pigmented the lip tints are! 😍

To highlight, these Watercolor Cream Tints contain Squalene (conditions and improves suppleness of the lips) as well as Hyaluronic acid (a humectant that attracts moisture the skin) which explains why it has this glossy-glowy-finished.






The formula is smooth and velvety as butter cream. It glides on the surface nicely and soon dries down to soft-tinted-finished.

As for their long-wearing claim, I thought they really have live up to the standard. Below is the result after removing the tints using tissue paper. Hands down. Salute. (the stains on my hand last for a good two days without purposely removing it with makeup remover :P)

Is the lip tint transferrable? Yes, when it is not set / still wet; no, when it is completely dried.

As I encountered from most lip stains, I can feel that my lips are wrapped / coated with a layer of drying agent on top after application. For these Watercolor Cream Tints, the drying part wasn't too bad, but still on the drying side. (My lips are super sensitive and easily chaps. Just for your reference.)


Which color do I favour the most? I'm having a hard time choosing between #01 Plum Cream and #04 Marron Cream, but I will go for the first. (I love bold colours!! 😜) The latter is my go-to daily colour, absolutely wear-able all days!
