Craving for Mexican food, but don't know where to go for it?
I heard there is a newly opened stall at S7 Food Court which sells authentic Mexican food.
Wanna check it out? :)

This S7 Food Court is rather new.
But nothing is too hard for Waze to find the way. ;)
If you are driving towards City Mall (on your left),
continue straight until you see a Shell petrol station.
Turn left once passed the petrol station.
You should see the food court entrance on your immediate right.
The food court is rather spacious!
You should spot Delicias Mexican Food stall is on the left hand side.
Our hosts are Humberto, a Mexican, and his wife, Stephanie, a local Chinese.
Both of them love cooking and sharing the cooking-happiness to people surrounding.
(how can I tell? because they are so friendly and hospitable!)
Especially Humberto, he has the passion to bring authentic Mexican food and taste to the city where he is living right now, for more people to get to know about Mexican food.
From taco, to burrito, to nachos......
Can't wait to try out everything on the menu! :9
And YAS, desserts are spotted too!! :3
Dinner is preparation!
The whole cooking process is transparent,
so you can rest assured that your food is being prepared under surveillance.
(definitely no hanky-panky c:)
We were told that most of their ingredients,
such as corns, chilis and spices are imported from Mexico.
This is to provide the most truly Mexican taste and for quality assurance.
While waiting for the mains to be prepared,
we were introduced to a Mexican kind of "keropok", namely Pellets.
Texture is very much like Chinese crackers, but for this they sprinkled spice powder on top of it.
- Nachos (RM15) -
Super big portion of crispy corn tortilla chips, enough up to 2-3 person sharing.
They are very generous with the mozzarella cheese and diced tomato topping.
On top of that, mixing it with "pico de gallo" sauce and a hint of Jalapeno chili,
which made the whole dish so enjoyable! :9
- Taco (one for RM6, two for RM10.50) -
Grilled Beef Taco |
Campo Chicken Taco |
Authentic freshly-made gluten/fat free corn tortilla everyday,
which made it the perfect wrapping for any meat dish.
In terms of meat dish selections, there are 5 available choices:-
- Campo Chicken (stone grilled strips meat with Mexican spices, serve with pineapple);
- Al-Tierra Chicken (slow-roasted marinated meat with Mexican spices);
- Mexican Curry (chicken cooked with a variety of Mexican ingredients);
- Grilled Beef (stone grilled NZ / Australia tender juicy beef);
- Beef Fajitas (NZ / Australia beef cooked with green / red bell peppers).
The above meat selections can go with any of the mains.
- Burrito (RM15) -
Beef Fajitas Burrito |
Grilled Beef Burrito |
Campo Chicken Burrito |
Big portion, packed with lots of meat! :9
Especially their beef, so tender and juicy!
The wheat tortilla? Fresh and soft. Goes well with anything (literally)!
- Cheezy Quesadilla (RM15)-
To be honest, I never head of Quesadilla before.
It pretty looks like mini-pizza from the outlook.
Only that they stuffed the meat, cheese and vegetable inside the wheat tortilla.
- Mexican Steamed Rice (RM4) -
I know it looks like normal fried rice from the outlook.
In fact, the fragrant rice is soft and fluffy because they were steamed to cook.
However, it doesn't have any prominent taste to it.
- French Crepe (RM9) -
What's special about this crepe?
They stuffed cheese in the middle.
So once you bit into it, the melted cheese will burst in your mouth.
Both sweet and savoury at the same time.
The crepe itself smells like custard and it is super thin!
- Spanish Churros (RM7) -
Once the churros were being served,
all of us fell for the strong cinnamon scent.
Smells soooo goood!!!
Eat it when it's hot with their homemade chocolate dip.
The taste of the chocolate dip is just nice - not too sweet, nor too bitter.
Perfect duo!!!
Overall, I love the hearty dishes and generous meat portion.
My favourite would be Grilled Beef Burritos and Spanish Churros! :99
I am definitely coming back for more Mexican food,
probably will bring my family to try too. ;)

DeleteA very important food item in the Mexican food history is the maize. Being a crop that is easy to plant and contains adequate nourishment, it is a staple diet of the Mexicans. Best Mexican food in Austin
