Hello everyone! :)
It's been a while since my last review on lip products, despite I have purchase quite some lip products during the year.
Before 2018 ends, I would very much like to share with you this cute matte lipstick by Beauty Cottage, a Thai cosmetic brand.
Read on to see the swatches! :)
Actually I never heard of this brand before Emmy, my friend who recommended to me earlier this year. She said this brand is commonly found in Thailand shopping streets, and their lipsticks are one of the best seller.
As soon as I learned that my friend, Janet she is going to Thailand for holiday trip, I asked for a favour from her. That's the story on how I got this lipstick.
Particularly, Emmy highly recommended to try out their matte lipstick series, and I chose No. 9 BYZANTINE, which has red bean hue.
Okay, first thing first, lemme show you the packaging. It's SUPER CUTEEEE :D
Nonetheless, considering the fact that it is a semi-matte lipstick, I find it slightly drying for my lips, but nothing serious. BTW my lips are cracks easily even I'm without lipstick. So yeah. For your reference.
If I must say, one thing I didn't like is its metal scent. Having said that some brands have make their lip products "taste" like vanilla or wine, comparatively this lipstick here is not so pleasant. Well of course, we don't intentionally "eat" lipstick, but we do accidentally, right? :p
This lipstick is available via Beauty Cottage Official Website for THB345 (approx. RM44).

The lipstick packaging is made of steel, giving a magic touch as if it's a high-end product.
Now I'm enlarging the photos for you to see the lipstick itself. From the outlook, it has this brick red-brownish hue, which this shade is well-received as the "sophisticated" look. I'm loving it!!
And here are my swatches.
Left: Under yellow lighting; Right: Under white lighting.
Texture wise, it is very creamy and glides on the lips nicely.
The formula is very pigmented, which you can get the color as indicated with just one swipe or two.
And below is how it looks after I rub it away with tissue. It leaves a subtle stain behind which I find it handy, especially during dinner events. At least my lips wouldn't look pale even the lipstick is gone after the meal.

Rating: 3.5/5
Recommend: Yes, because it is pigmented and smooth on lips.
Repurchase: Less likely as most probably would like to try out other lip products from the brand
For your reference.
