Hello everyone! :)
Join me today as I am bringing my friends from Kuala Lumpur to discover Sabah.
My uni-friend, Emmy, is very talented in arts and design.
Ever since I knew her 7 years ago, she wows me many times in her unique creativity in colouring and handcrafts. Absolutely a colorful and cheerful person.
She personally requested to visit the Art Gallery, and it's not hard to think why.
Opened since 1984, Sabah Art Gallery has been promoting arts and crafts,
be it created by local or international artists,
hence becoming an excellent platform to nurture and groom local talents.
- Address : 14, Jalan Shantung, 88300 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
- Operating Hours : 9AM - 5PM
- Website : https://www.sabahartgallery.com/
With much regret, I never been to Sabah Art Gallery,
though having said that I've been living in this town for about 2 good decades.
I guess, it just didn't cross my mind.
Not an artistic person, as you can see (heh).

The building itself is a 3-level art gallery.
There is a round staircase in the middle of the building,
which I find especially mesmerizing.
The art being displayed are seasonal, depending on the annual theme.
Say you can perhaps make it an annual visit,
o you can expect different artworks every time you visit this gallery.
It will take about 15-30 minutes to visit the entire gallery.
Honestly speaking, I wish they have more artworks on display... :/
At the outdoor compound, you will find upcycling artworks.
A children-friendly place to play and take some memorable photos.
Anyway, I'm glad that Emmy "brought" me here today and re-discovering Sabah.
