Last night I went for a dinner date with Justine.
So thankful that we made it yesterday and it was a tick on my wishlist. ☑️

Read on to find out more about this cafe! :9
The idea of poke bowl truly interest me, especially it is the first cafe to offer this in town.
You'll feel like walking backwards in time when stepping into this vintage cafe.
There are these 70s 80s pin-up advert poster on the walls.
Every details are designed carefully.
We sat down at the table at the corner.
The waiter came forward and gave us the menu.
So the idea is to create your own poke bowl.
For instance, pick your base, sides, toppings, sauce...
The truth is, this is our first visit to this cafe and we're clueless on how to go on ordering.
Hence we might as well get their Signature Salmon Poke Bowl~👍🏻

Signature Salmon Poke Bowl (RM19.90) ingredient
- Sushi rice (base)
- Shoyu Salmon (fresh protein)
- Japanese cucumber (side)
- Cherry tomatoes (side)
- Onions (side)
- Edamame (side)
- Baby lettuce (side)
- Seaweed flakes (topping)
- Sesame seeds (topping)
- House shoyu (sauce)
The Shoyu Salmon is truly my type!!
You can taste the freshness!!
Everything in the bowl compliments each other... except the freshly cut onions...
Mainly because I'm not much fond of onions at the first place 😂
(should have replaced it with another side, but yeahh... learning from experience)

I was thinking to have Japanese green tea to go with salmon (like Japanese cuisine does),
sadly they don't have it on the menu.
The closest alternative I could find would be a Matcha Latte.
It is so rich in flavour.. more on the bitter taste..
Well not too much of my taste thou...
In case you wonder, they do serve complimentary drinking water.
Price wise, you might be thinking "RM19+ for a poke bowl? that's expensive".
But think it in another way.
How much would it costs you for a Japanese bento set?
Around that price, right?
Here they serve good quality food and (most importantly) fresh salmon.
I would say it is value for money. It's like a treat for myself after a long day working.
But yeah, not like I'm eating it everyday lah.. XD
Overall, nice place to chill and have good food.
