My uni-friend, Emmy, is very talented in arts and design.

Ever since I knew her 7 years ago, she wows me many times in her unique creativity in colouring and handcrafts. Absolutely a colorful and cheerful person.

She personally requested to visit the Art Gallery, and it's not hard to think why.

Opened since 1984, Sabah Art Gallery has been promoting arts and crafts,

be it created by local or international artists,

hence becoming an excellent platform to nurture and groom local talents.

I think I have been talking about Innisfree's sheet mask ever since started this blog. I would love to feature more sheet masks from them because they are really awesome! It caters to my skin request.

The "My Real Squeeze Mask" series has been in the market for years now, so Innisfree went and repackaged them, giving them a "new face".

[Restaurant] Atas dinner @ Laundrolux

Despite I have been here several times for lunch,

it is my first dinner here at Laundrolux, Api-Api Centre.

So excited for tonight's dinner!!

In fact, it is meant to be the joined birthday dinner for mum and meeee :3

Spent by my dad (heh).

Apparently, they serve different menus at different hours.

Didn't see anything from the lunch menu appears in tonight's dinner menu.

When we are done with ordering,

the staff served us with hot buns, potato and tomato buns respectively,

going in with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

Particularly, it is my first time tasting bun made of tomatoes.

That's quite interesting.

Both texture of potato and tomato buns feel the same, only the taste.

But neither one has overpowering taste.

I enjoyed the taste of warm homely food.

We are accompanied with soothing music while waiting for the mains to be served.

It did took quite a while, but I guess good food worth the wait??

- Pan Seared Salmon served with fresh salad and tartar sauce-

You can taste the freshness of the salmon!

Everything is cooked just nice, especially the salmon fish skin.

If I must say, the salmon meat itself is little bit dry (not juicy enough),

but it can be compliment by eating with the sauce.

Not enough sauce? You can always ask for more.

- Australian Grass Fed Sirloin served with asparagus and mashed potato -

Cooked medium to well, this could be the best sirloin I ever had (so far)!!!

Even now I'm looking at this while penning down my blog post,

I'm drooling inside (gawwww)...

So good, so tender, so fresh.

Every component of this dish compliments each other.

Well, it does come in a higher price tag, but definitely worth the try!!!

100% recommend!!

Overall my dining experience here is 7/10.

Why? Actually we have ordered another main and dessert too.

But they were just so-so, compared to the earlier dishes aforementioned.

Particularly, the Sago with Gula Melaka was so disappointing;

I tried them before in the lunch set menu, so I can tell it's different.

Thank papa for the birthday dinner treat!!!

[Cafe Hoping] With Myra @ October Coffee House, Latitude 6

Myra is a beauty blogger whom I met on Instagram earlier this year.

Despite the fact that she blogs about beauty stuffs most of the time,

she is very much into cafe-hoping too! (fun fact) ☕

October Coffee House is a good place to start for our cafe-hoping journey.

I am always fond of this cafe because of its name "October".
Cute and easy to remember.

It serves aroma coffee and its environment is very "gathering-friendly".

Nice and cozy.

Actually this is the second time I met up with Myra.

First we went to the newly opened Sephora Suria

and Myra showed me "a whole new world" about skincare and cosmetics.

Myra has been blogging on beauty products for more than 5 years now,

she is EXCEPTIONAL knowledgeable, both Korean and European brands,

and I just had the feeling that she is a "walking beauty dictionary"! Seriously..

Yesterday we went to The Chubs Grill for classic American dinner.

People are showing much love to this restaurant,

and as a curious "cat" (referring to myself), I just outta check it out to find out why.

- Serves pork

Do mind that this restaurant is in high demand.

It is like the "hotspot" in town nowadays.

People come in groups to celebrate events, hang out with friends and enjoy good food.

Feel free to walk in, but do allow some time for the staffs to assign you a table.

Or, you could come at off-peak time, avoiding traffic and disappointment.

Or, you could make booking in advance.

Feeling random today, we walked into the restaurant without booking at around 6PM.

There were already people occupied dining area at ground floor.

Hence, we were assigned to 1st floor where there are still many vacant tables.

This is an American restaurant,

so you can expect pizzas, steaks, chops, pastas and etc.

Yummm my favourite!!

Let's jump right into our dishes tonight, shall we?

- Signature Pork Ribs RM39.80 -

The pork ribs come with a salad side with thousand island dressing and potato side.

The pork ribs are tender and juicy as it seems, nicely smoked and coated with BBQ sauce..

Just YUMMMM :9

- Pork Lasagne RM25.80 -

Lasagne is always my favourite when I go American diner.

But it's rare to find the pasta with pork fillings here.

Every single bite is full with juicy minced pork and melted cheese.

Totally my type of indulgence!!!

- Papaya Milk RM11.80 -

I can taste actual papaya puree inside the drink, like literally!

That's 100% original - so thick and creamy.

Overall, I would rate my dining experience here 9/10.

Since it was our first visit to this restaurant, we are unfamiliar with the menu,

and the staff who took order unfortunately failed to explain to us when we approached her.

Although the food price range is above average,

food wise, it is 100% satisfied.

Tough customers, like my dad, he said it was value-for-money.
