Hello everyone! :)
Today I would like to share with you my experience after using this trouble spot treatment by SKIN&LAB.
Before that, I wish to inform you my current skin condition. Not so happy I would say, it is undergoing a "bumpy road" - dealing with endless acne and whiteheads.
Not to say that I wasn't bother about the both earlier, it's just that the acne pimples popped-up once the earlier subsided - like an endless war for me. Least that I thought they appear on the U-zone which was rather dry for the past 20+ years. So annoying. :/
That's how desperate I am, in searching for a cure to "cool" things down.
Read on to find out whether this product works wonder on my troubled skin, or the other way.
Just before we talk about product usage and effect, let's start with the packaging.
SKIN&LAB's Dr. Spot Don't Touch Trouble Spot comes in a white & soft plastic tube. The plastic cap is coated with metal on the outer layer - a delicate touch indeed. Dark blue and grey font on top of white background - very striking and minimalistic.
Overall, it gives an impression of "simple, professional and clinical".
As quote from SKIN&LAB, Dr. Spot Don't Touch Trouble Spot has the below benefits:-
Yes indeed we could understand that this spot serum is meant for anti-blemish and this is exactly what I need RIGHT NOW!
To use, apply to the affected area 2-3 times daily.
As you can observed from photo below, the spot serum is transparent and in gel texture.
However, when apply it thoroughly, the spot serum will spread evenly on the surface like a layer of water (below).
There is this weird scent to it... Smells like gum but not. Reminds me very much of medicine. Not quite pleasant, but be assured it is not pungent. Once you applied it on the skin, you can feel slight cooling effect.
When I first started, I apply it once a day for 3-5 days straight, but I see no sign of blemish-calming effect, lest anti-blemish effect. Moreover, I don't see it helps in healing and drying my ance marks after squeezing.
Is it because it only works when applied 2 to 3 times a day and once is not enough? Or my pimples were too tough to deal with? :/
After being said that it has so many benefits to offer, no doubt I had high hope on this product, and probably explains why I'm disappointed when it didn't work out for me.
In terms of prevention wise, I do think it can calm down emerging acne on the early stage. But when the acne develops and matures, it pretty much has no effect. Again, I must clarify, this is for my case. I do read positive reviews online saying that this product does work on them.
Have you tried this anti-blemish spot treatment? What's your verdict?
