Didn't realized it was exactly one year ago when I first shared on steam eye mask... until just now (literally).
I am hooked to steam eye masks ever since I knew about it. Having said that there are more and more brands coming up with similar products, I still gonna stick with Kao MegRhythm for now. Why? Don't you think there is a reason behind being the No. 1 Sales in Japan?? :)

My work requires me to stare at the computer for long hours. Besides working hours, I will either be on phone or laptop (writing blog posts). Indeed that's taxing for my eyes.
Most of the times, I would rather cut down my personal "on-screen" time. But there are times when I have painful headache and teary eyes. That's when I will take out steam eye mask to relief and pamper my eyes.
One year ago, I shared a box of 14 pieces steam eye mask.
Now we can get smaller box of 5 pieces, less commitment.
As of now, there are 6 options to choose from (Watson Malaysia): unscented, rose, citrus yuzu, lavender sage, chamomile ginger and european bouquet.
I have tried both chamomile ginger and citrus yuzu earlier, and I'm excited to venture into other options.
Today I will be sharing my experience using lavender-sage scent.
The usage direction is pretty straight-forward. First, remove eye mask from the pouch. Tear along the dotted-line. Then place ear straps around ears.
With Japan advanced self-warming technology, the steam eye mask quickly self-warming within seconds after being removing from the pouch. As said on the product description, the temperature can rise until 40°C for good 10 minutes.
From my experience, the steam eye mask can maintain the heat for more than 15 minutes. To even prolong the duration, my hack is to use a sleeping eye mask (as shown above) to cover on top of the steam eye mask. By using this way, the sleeping eye mask will keep the steaming heat under cover. Very easy right?
Most of the time I won't be able to keep track the heating duration as I will go into sleep as the "steam" is cooking. I would say, it is the most relaxing moment of the whole day! :))
In terms of the scent, I am little disappointed as I was expecting more of the lavender; however the sage scent is overpowering. :/
