It's been a while since my last cushion/foundation review.
IOPE's Air Cushion has been on my wishlist ever since it was launched. The reason why I didn't buy it on the spot is because the price. Yeap, I'm very conscious on product price and I want my money worth every cent.
After reading much positive reviews on this Air Cushion (especially, Intense Cover), finally I decided to add to cart when the official shop on Gmarket was having a sale. Besides, it is like a "Buy 1 Free 1" since it readily comes with a refill (30g). (YAY!!!)
*Disclaimer: I'm not pro in makeup; this review is mainly based on my personal experience while using this cushion foundation.*

Hereby I would like to focus more on the personal experience I had with this cushion foundation, in hoping that you will be able to relate more. :)
The driving reason behind this purchase is actually its packaging. Yeap, for me, Rose Gold ring packaging is worth for collection, let aside its coverage and etc. That's for me, of course. :p
There are 4 shades available: No. 13 Ivory, No. 21C Cool Vanilla, No. 21 Vanilla, No. 23 Beige.
The difference between No. 21C and No. 21 is that the earlier has a pink undertone to it.
I opted for No. 21C since I wanted something different from my current collection.
Look at its design. Isn't it elegant? *~* That's what I'm talking about!
Okay, enough of the packaging.
Let's move on and talk about its usage. Most importantly, its coverage, since it specifically named it as "Intense Cover", so I have high expectation.
We shall see. ;)
Here below I've wrote on the back of my hand with a liquid eyeliner.
Let's see its coverage power after applying once and 2-layer (below).
As you can see, its coverage can be built by layering. However, it didn't give me the impact that I'm longing for. :s
I'm looking for a cushion foundation with high coverage that can even cover blemishes, acne scars and freckles.
Allow me to show you how this cushion foundation works on my face (below).
From the comparison above, you can see that the cushion foundation improves and brighten up my complexion. However, my freckles and blemishes are still (obviously) visible...
Application wise, it didn't dry out my skin throughout the day. Well of course, it is advisable to stick to your morning routine (skin prep and moisturizing) and proceed makeup afterwards for better adherence.
I would say, it is a decent product, taking their product quality into consideration. Quite disappointing on its coverage, but still a good on-the-go makeup base. It gives you the promising Korean complexion (if that's what you're looking for).
*p/s: take note of fake products as they are widely available online. to be on the safe side, purchase from official online site, official physical stall, or authorized seller.*
