[Restaurant] Dinner @ The Penyu, Nexus Resort Karambunai

Something different this Saturday.

Instead of writing beauty product review, I would like to share with you my experience at the renowned Nexus Resort Karambunai.

Last night, my family we spent a weekend away and dined at their in-house fusion restaurant - 

The Penyu.

This post will be about our dining experience last night.

Read on if you're interest. :))

It's 7:40PM when we arrived the restaurant.

By judging on the customers, it looks like everyone in the resort is here for dinner.

And we are more convinced to dine here (there must be good here somewhere you see).

One thing I love is their indoor setting.

As far as I remember since young, this place remains its design;

somehow they maintain it like if they didn't age.

Super famish at this point, we asked the waiter if he could serve us dessert first.

- Classic Cheesecake -

So creamy, so smooth, so flavoury.

- Kiwi Yogurt Freezy -

Like mother like daughter, we have the same taste.

It's almost simultaneously we chose Kiwi Yogurt Freezy.

Frankly the taste didn't come out as I expected. :/

Too creamy at the point which is difficult to sip in using straw.

If I'm not wrong, it seemed like they put sago in the drink.

Why don't you just serve it with a dessert bowl and spoon then? :')

Thou high customer traffic, the main courses are served fast enough.

Waiting time is around 20 to 25 minutes.

- Carbonara Spaghetti -

This is superb!!!! ^0^

Creamy and salty as it should be.

I just want more and moreeeee :D

My dad and sis approved it too.

(p.s. I should ask to serve with fettuccine, that would be perfecto)

- Wan Tan Ho served with Seafood-

The platting is well-done.

However the taste? It's bland and that's disappointing.

Why have it here, just go downtown.

- Fish and Chips-

First thing first, thou they claim it to be Tartar sauce, but why we tasting like mayonnaise? :')

Overall it was still ok.

- Beef Steak-

Well this is one of the best tonight.

Medium to well-done.

The sauce and the beef go well together.

- Extra -

Also, let me show you our room.

Okay, by judging on the broken light bulb (first photo),

it seems like a lot of maintenance work need to be done.

Don't mention the toilet. Big NO NO.

Besides the bed.

Somehow the hotel beds are more comfy than our own back in house (heh).
