Terengganu Relaxing East Coast 5D4N Getaway

Wonderful and exciting journey starts early in the morning. I am catching early flight on 5.25AM, departing from Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2).
I am travelling alone from KK, and I just can't wait to meet up with my travel mates!!!

Flight from KK to KL usually takes 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Perhaps it was the first flight of the day(?), our plane actually landed 27 minutes earlier than scheduled (say whuttt).
After collecting my baggage, it was 8AM.
From KLIA2, I am taking the KLIA Express (train) to Station Bandar Tasik Selatan (a.k.a. Station BTS or TBS). The one-way fare is RM38.40. However, if you purchase the train ticket via self-service kiosk, you can get 10% discount right on the spot. Meaning you just need to pay RM34.60.

The train has a few stops in between and takes about 30 minutes to arrive at Station Bandar Tasik Selatan.
Around 9AM, finally I met up with my travel mates and we are ready to go!!! :D

This Chinese restaurant is famous for its variety of dim-sum. Particularly you shouldn't miss it Chicken Nest Bun (鸡窝包 or "Gai Woh Bao") (top left).
Meanwhile, I would like to recommend their Chee Cheong Fun (猪肠粉).
Typical Chinese breakfast to kick-start the road trip.
This meal costs us RM59 for 4 persons.

They are my uni mates since foundation year. So happy that all of us made it for this trip (despite busy schedules).
Since Derick Soong is the most trustworthy driver among four of us (really???), he shall held the post with no doubt. Oh wait. Okay, the reason he is driving because that's his car! (LOL of course)
It takes about 3 hours driving from KL to Kuantan.
Road trip music jam? No worries. Emmy has it all covered... and Jay Chou's songs on the playlist is unquestionable. (that's her favourite singer of all time :p)
Lunch at Restoran UK Loh

This local Chinese restaurant is rated as the must-try in Kuantan for it Char Siew (叉烧), roast duck (烤鸭), Hong Kong Style Wan Tan Mee (云吞面) and more.

We are so close for unable to get the roast duck due to high demand (whew).
Just by seeing these photos already made me "mouth-watering".
I just love the combination of duck meat + char siew + wan tan mee... You just can't stop getting one scoop after another.
The portion is slightly smaller than usual serving, but the taste is definitely on-point! Surely you don't want to miss this.
This meal costs us RM49.20 in total for 4-person sharing.
