Hello everyone! :) Hyeon's Beauty Diary is back~! \\(^0^)//
If you had read my previous Monthly Project on "Reapplying Sunscreen: Is it possible?", you are no stranger to this product which I am going to share with you now.
Etude House's Sunprise Mild Watery Light | 에뛰드 하우스 선프라이즈 마일드 워터리 라이트 SPF50+ PA+++ | 50g |
Etude House's Sunsprise series is one of the product line in my wishlist for quite a while.
The reason I bought this product, honestly, is to recreate the "reapplying sunscreen" DIY which I learned online. Otherwise, I suppose it will still be in my wishlist by now... :')
Anyway. Since I bought and am using this product for a reasonable period (until now), I think it is appropriate to conclude my thoughts about this product.
"This is a moist sun gel with a lecithin ingredient and skin-friendly liquid formula that lightly glide a thin layer onto skin with a clean finish." -Etude House.
Nothing really exciting from it's ingredient list; It is either your skin likes it, or hate it. (check out the full ingredient and analysis here)
Specifically, it contains alcohol and fragrance, which means if you have dry or sensitive skin, you might as well take note. ;)
Texture wise, it is not really watery type, more like lotion type to me. (as below)
Once you spread the sunscreen on the skin, first you certainly can feel the moisture, then it starts to sink into a thin layer, covering the skin.
I am lying if I say it is not sticky, or you can't feel anything on the skin. Well, compared to those oily sunscreen that leaves creases, this Sunprise Mild Watery Light Sunscreen gives a relatively fresh-finished. If you are a makeup-wearer, I don't think it bothers you, since this layer will be covered up later on. ;)
Scent wise, it has some kind of citrus fragrance to me. Quite interesting to find in a sunscreen product and refreshing too.
Usually I will apply one layer all over my face as the last step of morning skincare routine. And occasionally I will apply another layer specially targeted on my freckles, to give extra sun protection (I know I should do that always, but I'm too lazyyy :p).
Overall, I think it is quite a decent liquid sunscreen for daily usage, considering the fact that I bought this product for only RM36 from Althea. :)

Rating: 3.5/5
Recommend: Affordable decent sunscreen for daily usage. More for normal to dry skin.
Repurchase: Not highly possible for the meantime as I wish to try out other products.
For your reference.
