Hello everyone! :)
I am back with another cleansing water review from Bifesta!
(Click here if you have missed the previous review)
I recalled that I wasn't quite satisfied with the previous cleansing water. I didn't like the smell, the texture on the skin.. Well it doesn't suit me, but I don't speak for everyone.
I thought of giving it another try after being recommended by Hello Catie, a Taiwanese Beauty Youtuber, saying apparently the purple one works miracle on her.
This one here I purchased from Watson, local drugstore, for RM27.80. It comes with a complementary box of cotton pads (as below).
I have been using this product for quite a while now and will be sharing with you my thoughts on it shortly.
First, the complementary cotton pads are fluffy in the middle, as you can see below. Ability to absorb a lot of the product (and sometimes it's too much before I realized it @@, and I was just keep on pumping lol).
So it is roughly the amount you get from one pump (as below). About a coin's size? Usually I will take 2-3 pumps, but it all depends.
Time for experiment!
Honestly, this is my first attempt to test the product in this way. I have no idea what would be the outcome ><'''.
This is it. I wrote on my hand with a black gel eyeliner. Then I am going to remove the black gel eyeliner using this product.
As usual, give it for about 2-3 pumps, make sure the cotton pad is nicely damped.
Let's see what's the result after one swab (as below).
Roughly 70% of the wording are gone.
It takes 3 swabs in order to remove the wording entirely.
Frankly speaking, its cleansing power is not at the top notch, but I would say it was pretty impressive. Unlike the previous cleansing water which I tried on earlier, I have better impression on this purple cleansing water. It is mild on the skin (even around the eyes), and it doesn't have the weird smell.
Overall, I thought it worth the try. I do have combination skin, and so far it works ok for me.
**Quick product note: This product is paraben-free, sulfate-free and alcohol-free. Contains fragrance.**
This product is available at Watson.
