Today I am going to review one of It's Skin's Power 10 Formula series products. I am not to sure whether to categorize it as essence or serum, as it didn't mention on it's packaging The texture is more watery, like serum-type. So... serum it will be. (hehe)
This Power 10 Formula series uses different colour to label and differentiate its functions from one another. VB Effector, for instance, has a green-bottle packaging. However, it's solution is not green, but transparent.
VB Effector focuses on cleaning and maintaining a clean healthy skin, mainly targeting on acne-troubled skin and oily skin. It is said that Vitamin B could minimize and control sebum regulation. Hence, this oil-free vitamin solution will help to suppress excessive sebum secretion (which eventually causes acne) and keep your skin moisturizing.
From the photos below, you can tell it's solution is very watery, in result, it has better skin-absorption power. Take a generous amount and apply it thinly on your face. Gently pat on your skin for better absorption. It should take less than 10 seconds to notice the solution has been fully absorbed into your skin. Easy application.
Actually, Power 10 Formula line was launched back in 2013, but apparently it is getting more and more attention nowadays due to good reviews. A product which lasted in the market for more than 3 years? There must be a reason.
At Althea website, products from Power 10 Formula line are always selling on discounted price. It is priced at RM47 per bottle, yet they always sell at RM25 per bottle (could be marketing strategy, i can't say for sure).
Normally, serum-type products are priced slightly higher than normal skincare products, because they are mainly used for targeted skin issues. If that's the case, Power 10 Formula products are relatively cheaper when compared.
How is the effect? As of now, I have used up half a bottle. Frankly, I would say the effect took place rather slow and the result is not obvious. A penny, a goods. At least, from what I observed, it really helps in maintaining a cleaner skin complexion, provided you use it consistently, day and night.
This is my second bottle from Power 10 Formula series (first was YE Effector), and I will continue trying new ones from the series since it is rather affordable.
