Penang 6D5N Year-End Trip 槟城年尾之旅
December 23, 2016 (Friday)
After a whole morning of street art hunting, we thought should all it a day. Then we learnt that Wonderfood Museum is just 5 minutes walking distance. By the time we reached the museum, it started to rain. Uh, what a coincidence.

It was my youngest sister's idea to visit Wonderfood Museum. It seemed to be the most wanted visit museum on her list. Well, as you wished, my dear.
A brief introduction first. Wonderfood Museum is best known for making super-realistic food replicas while showcasing Malaysian (
especially, Penang) culinary delights. Please kindly be reminded not to visit this museum with an empty stomach, 'cause these foods look so real and you might want to have a bite (
of course you can't).
At the entrance, you will noticed a giant chendol replica being displayed - which there is a note beside write "this is not the big. the biggest is inside". Gosh, this is big enough, and you're telling me there is a bigger
cendol inside?
At the lobby, there is a giant roasted turkey replica being displayed. Look at the colour... Feel like having turkey tonight... Can we?
The admission fee for non-MyKad holder adult is RM25 per person, and RM15 per child. As for MyKad holders, it is RM15 per adult and RM10 per kid/student (
must show student card).

Don't underestimate this two-storey museum. We almost spent 2 hours in there 'cause there are so many things to see. I really like the idea of conveying messages through arts. I just felt ought to pause for a second and try to figure out the hidden messages behind the artworks. Awesome artworks indeed!
If you enjoy taking photos and doing funny poses, I think you should consider Wonderfood Museum in your itinerary while visiting Penang. The admission fee is rather reasonable.
---stay tuned---
