Penang 6D5N Year-End Trip 槟城年尾之旅

It began to rain heavily as we arrived THE TOP @ Komtar. After an hour, we left, took our car and decided on another car ride. This time round, we are heading south, to Queensbay Mall.
By the time we reached the mall, we caught this beautiful scene. Ahh, so lovely.
Err... I think I heard something. Maybe it's the stomach. Can we have a meat feast? 'Cause imma meat-lover! :3

I just learnt that Bar-B-Q Plaza was actually founded in Thailand where its first branch is located at Central Plaza Ladprao in year 1987. Back then I was introduced to this chain restaurant by my uni-mates. It hit me from the very first time, and since then I am "sort-of" addicted. Sadly there isn't any branch in Kota Kinabalu yet... Probably to keep me not to eat too much of meat...
So yeah, Bar-B-Q Plaza is no stranger. It is a self-cooking Mongolian and Japanese styled barbeque restaurant, serving a wide selection of meats, where customers can choose either to self-grill or steamboat.
This is the second branch in Penang, where the first is located at Gurney Drive. It was 7PM and looks like we are still early for dinner. But soon later, the restaurant was fulled with customers when we noticed.
So yeah, Bar-B-Q Plaza is no stranger. It is a self-cooking Mongolian and Japanese styled barbeque restaurant, serving a wide selection of meats, where customers can choose either to self-grill or steamboat.

They were having Christmas Family Set Promotion for 4 person for RM108.80 (member price RM98.80). "Waiter, can we have one set of this? Thank you."
This Christmas Family Set consists of one (1) Deluxe Family Set (originally RM49.90), one (1) fried bacon roll, four (4) bacon garlic fried rice and four (4) green tea (refillable).
Whoohoo! I can't wait!!! It's been a year since my last visit to Bar-B-Q Plaza. I'm gonna indulge myself in this meal tonight...
Oh right, fun fact. They will serve thinly sliced cabbage and refill once it is finished. So usually what I do is, I will eat a lot of the cabbage, in thinking of contra the amount of meat I had for the meal. :p
Food wise, not much to comment. Pretty much expected from Bar-B-Q Plaza. Customer service wise, I think it was good, as the waiter (apparently new staff) was kind enough to show us how to cook the shell with the stove.
I just hope they could open up a branch here back at KK.. That's all. Should be soon, right folks?
Not to forget, it was winter solstice. On our way back to hotel, we bought ourselves a bowl of Chinese rice balls to celebrate this special day.
