We had trouble in searching for the location at first.
It is located at middle of the hill, and we were so not ready for such hiking @@
(yesss, I may have aggregated here)
But we get used to it right next day.
We booked a double room for 5 nights from Booking.com
It costs us KRW262,500 (appox. RM477) for the deal.
Let's check out the room, shall we?
The room size is just enough to fit two persons.
Otherwise it would be too packed.
Room service is available upon request.
That's why they called it "budget hostel".
However, toiletries are provided,
such as body shampoo, hair shampoo, conditioner and facial foam.
If you need to change your bath towel, just bring it to the counter,
and they will change for you right away.
The kitchen is at second floor, down the corridor.
We stayed at second floor as well, so its very convenient.
I really like the concept. Tiles and walls are made of wood.
Big window to allow sunshine in.
Everything you need is there, such a cozy area.
Breakfast included.
Typical western breakfast.
Toast, eggs, coffee, tea.
Same menu everyday.
However if you feel like cooking, the kitchen is yours.
Fully-equipped with kitchen utensils.
You may store your cooking ingredients or leftover in the fridge,
while putting a sticker to indicate its yours.
What we loved about the most is the hospitality.
Their customer service is down-to-earth top-notch.
Right on the first day we arrived, a Taiwanese girl welcomed us at the door.
She might looked shy at first, but soon we could converse comfortably,
and she told us she is doing room service as "working holiday".
Then a Korean guy greeted us at the counter and helped us with check-in.
I assumed he to be the owner (maybe, or maybe not? never get to clarify)
He is well-verse in English and very friendly (what a relief indeed!)
Later then we knew his name is Sam.
During our stay, Sam helped us to make inquiry call and order take-out food.
We really really appreciate that.
On the next day, there is another Korean guy station at the counter.
Apparently he is a friend of Sam (and I assumed to be another boss).
Later then we knew his name is NK.
Also, he is a nice person and he speaks fluent English.
When we were hesitating whether to take shuttle bus to Everland, or public bus,
we went to seek for his advice (cause he was the one station on that night).
He kindly tells us how to get onto public bus and assured us about our bus trip.
We really really appreciate that.
There is a Chinese saying goes, "you need friends when you're out there".
Such hospitality makes foreigners feel like home.
In short, we enjoyed our stay here and we have wonderful memories.
Thank you very much! :)
