Dinner @ Little Italy, Gaya Street, Kota Kinabalu
I should have written this on the Christmas Day itself. Anyway. Flashback to Christmas night... Food photo spam alert!
To celebrate Christmas and to have a reason to eat-out, dad brought us the whole family downtown to have a decent Italian meal. Meanwhile, we are here also to celebrate both my younger sisters whom received good results from recent exams (heap heap hooray!).

This is not the first time we dine at Little Italy. Whenever we think of classic Italian flavours, we thought of Little Italy. That's how popular it is in town. I have learned that it started by an Italian family, and I am not too sure whether the family are the ones who are running the business as of now.
One thing for sure, Italian dishes aren't cheap. On the other hand, you can assured that the quality and taste of the food here is exceptional! (even now I can still remember how it tastes while writing this)
Most of their dishes have Italian names, but the dish descriptions are written in English. You may ask their staffs for Chinese-speaking assistance.
From the photos you can see seasonal decorations and the restaurant is actually fully-packed, both indoor and outdoor!
We ordered Classic Lasagna Bolognese, Quattro Formaggi in Pappardelle all Uovo and Carbonara Light in Spaghetti. As for drinks, large iced lemonade (RM11.90) and large iced peach tea (RM9.90), both large in size. The drinks were served quickly.
As for the mains, they were served within 20 minutes, despite the restaurant was full-housed. Bon Appétit! :9
Classic Lasagna Beef Bolognese - RM29.90 |
Carbonara Light in Spaghetti - RM28.90 |
Quattro Formaggi in Pappardelle all Uovo - RM28.90 |
Every bite is fulled with flavous. Every dish we had that night was exceptional delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it very very very much. You have my words. (still drooling now...)
The total bill costs us around RM130 (yeah pricy like I mentioned earlier). If you are those who are willing to spend on food, I suggest you to try out Little Italy when you're in town.
Until the next time. Cheers!
